Vodafone Senior UX UI Designer | 2022 – 2024My focus at Vodafone has been validating various initiatives designed to improve the digital purchase experience, in order to increase sales across the online store. My work included designing wireframes and prototypes, running unmoderated user testing sessions and presenting findings and key callouts to stakeholders, collaborating with different stakeholders including legal and copywriting, and working across multiple squads with other designers, product owners and developers, to enable initiatives to be shipped.
Service NSW Senior Product Designer | 2020 – 2022My time within the Digital Notifications team at Service NSW allowed me to level up on my UX research and validation skills, work with a number of cross-functional teams and contribute to the design system used across Service NSW. Working with the product owners and designers, I helped define the product roadmap and strategy, and structure the ways of working within the design team.
Clui Lead UX UI Designer | 2017 – 2020As Lead UX UI Designer at Clui, a SaaS LMS, I transformed a promising product into a scalable, user-centric learning solution. I managed the entire design process, from initial concepts to developer handover and QA. Working with clients such as Dreamworld and G8 Education provided valuable insights into LMS requirements and organisational impact. I created and maintained the Clui design system, and temporarily served as Product Owner, handling roadmap planning, strategy, sprint management, and team feedback sessions.
Simple Product Designer | 2015 – 2017Simple’s SaaS marketing performance platform gave me the opportunity to work on many different features over two years, while learning a lot about the end-to-end design process. Working with two other designers, and with a large team of developers, I was able to lead product features and design them autonomously, incorporating best practice examples and research, user testing feedback, and rapidly prototype to craft a final solution, to be handed over to developers. I served as the owner of a company-wide initiative of creating and managing the product style guidelines – improving the design consistency across the company.
Mozmo Creative Web Designer | 2014 – 2015 As Mozmo’s sole web designer, I managed the online side of the agency, where I continually shaped and improved the web design and development process. To make things easier and more efficient for both the client and the agency, I worked on web and print projects with quick turnaround timelines. Part of the process included brie ng clients on content requirements for their websites, creating wireframes and mockups, followed by building responsive websites.
Cox Rayner Architects Graphic Designer | 2013 – 2014 Duties at Cox included collaborating directly with architects and interior designers on upcoming projects, and designing tenders and corporate-style documents to tight deadlines. The design of in-house graphics included logos, electronic forms, templates, maps, charts and diagrams. This work allowed us to communicate complex information effortlessly to our clients. Cox Rayner Architects was often a true test of my capacity to work under extremely tight deadlines, while highlighting my contribution in team settings.
PLM Media Graphic & Web Designer | 2010 – 2013 PLM Media was a really suitable start for my career as a designer. Being a small agency, I was able to really get my hands dirty with an abundance of work across print and web. My primary tasks included the setup, design and ongoing management of websites, designing press ads for display villages\ builders (including managing media bookings and sending material), and the complete management of two monthly, high distribution publications. Such content included the design, editorial sourcing, liaising with PR agencies and advertising clients, and also sending press-ready les to print, followed by proof check and distribution.
